Adyghe Cheese Family Farm
Family Farm Adyghe Cheese is a natural cheese produced on a family farm using a traditional recipe from whole cow’s milk. It is crafted with careful attention to quality: the milk is pasteurized and curdled using a natural whey culture, with no preservatives or artificial additives. This approach ensures the cheese retains the natural goodness of milk – it’s rich in easily digestible protein, calcium, and vitamins. Its low salt content and the absence of an aging process also make it a diet-friendly product suitable for a healthy diet.
This natural cheese has a mild, creamy taste with a slight hint of salt, and a tender yet slightly springy texture. Adyghe cheese slices easily and does not melt when heated, so you can conveniently fry or bake it. When pan-fried, the pieces develop a delicious golden crust while remaining soft inside. You can also enjoy it fresh – the cheese makes a wonderful addition to vegetable salads, sandwiches, or cheese platters. Thanks to its versatility, Adyghe cheese can be used in a wide range of dishes – from appetizers to baked goods – adding a rich milky flavor and the nutritional benefits of a natural product to your meals.
Recipe 1: Fried Adyghe Cheese
-
Cut the Adyghe cheese into slices about 1 cm thick.
-
Heat a pan and lightly grease it with oil. Fry the cheese slices for 1–2 minutes on each side until a golden crust forms.
-
Serve hot as a standalone appetizer or with vegetables. If desired, sprinkle the fried cheese with fresh herbs or drizzle a little honey on top for a flavor contrast.
Recipe 2: Salad with Adyghe Cheese
-
Chop fresh vegetables (tomatoes, cucumbers, bell peppers) into large pieces and place them in a bowl with some lettuce leaves.
-
Cut the Adyghe cheese into cubes and add it to the vegetables.
-
Dress the salad with olive oil, adding salt and pepper to taste (keep in mind the cheese is already slightly salty). Toss gently and serve immediately, garnished with fresh herbs.
